Olympia, one of the best places to live

We knew there was something special about this town. Congratulations Olympia for being named the 6th best place to live in the United States by Kiplinger Magazine. Kiplinger describes Olympia as a “cultural diamond in the rough of the Pacific Northwest.”

Kiplinger Magazine evaluated cities in the U.S. based on their job markets, and growth ability when our economy starts to recover. Huntsville, Alabama earned the No. 1 spot, while Albuquerque, Washington D.C., and Charlottesville in Virginia were also listed among the top cities. Want to join in the celebration of Olympia as one of our nation's best? Stop by the Farmer’s Market at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. Mayor Doug Mah and other city officials will be autographing copies of the magazine and serving cake!
