Reed talks voting, civic involvement at UW

No, this is not a misprint: The Huskies welcomed a Cougar on their campus this week.

As part of his annual statewide college civics tour this spring, Secretary Reed, a loyal WSU alum, visited the University of Washington’s main campus in Seattle Monday, where he talked to students about the importance of voting and being civically involved.

Showing great resourcefulness that even a diehard Coug could appreciate, a group of U-Dub students used voter registrations forms to create the “VOTE” message shown in this photo of them with Reed.
