Secretary Wyman hits airwaves, reminding folks to vote

It's the last day for the 2013 General Election, and Secretary of State Wyman has been doing radio and TV interviews with several Seattle stations, reminding voters to return their ballot in time so their vote counts. Wyman began her election media swing with a visit to Fisher Plaza where she did interviews with KOMO Radio's Gregg Herscholt and Manda Factor, followed by an interview with KOMO-TV's Kelly Koopmans (top photo). The middle photo features the SOS during her KONG-TV interview with anchor Greg Copeland. And the bottom photo is taken during her chat with KCPQ morning news anchors Bill Wixey and Kaci Aitchison. If you haven't voted yet and plan to turn in your ballot today, your safest option is to put it in a ballot drop box provided by your county elections department. Make sure to put it in a drop box by 8 p.m. If you decide to mail back your ballot, it has to be postmarked today or else it won't count. Remember, not all post offices postmark mail at the same time.
