Black Panther protest photos win Archives tourney!!!

Our really high-tech tourney bracket shows the path to victory for the Black Panther protest photos.

After dominating the previous rounds of the Archives Treasures tourney, the 1969 Black Panther protest photos finally faced stiff competition in the form of the 1859-60 Crosby Store ledger in the championship game. But not even the ledger could prevent the protest photos from taking it all. The Black Panther pix held on to edge the “ledge” 51 percent to 49 percent. Thanks to all who voted in our online polls. You helped make the tourney happen! For those worried about going through tourney withdrawals, don’t worry. Our Library Jewels tourney will start Tuesday!
