  • Odegaard Library, University of Washington Seattle campus
  • Register here.
The Unconference is a fun, free gathering where librarians from different institutions can engage with and learn from one another. Inspired by the many great connections that have been made at past Unconferences, “Connections” will be the unifying theme of this year’s event: connecting to students, connecting to faculty, connecting to curriculum, connecting to community, and of course, connecting with each other. This year, the Unconference debuts lightning talks, which are a fun, fast way to share ideas and best practices. Topics can be practical or conceptual ideas, and should showcase effective practices or highlight new projects in various stages of development. Successful proposals will show evidence of being lively, fast-paced and thought provoking, while reflecting elements of the “Connections” theme. Please fill out the lightning talk proposal submission form. Selectees will be notified around July 22, 2016. More details to come! Check the Connections: Libraries Unconference @ UW website for updates. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5) PNLA REGISTRATION OPEN Registration is open for Pacific Northwest Library Association (PNLA) 2016 Conference: Networking Across Borders.
