The online poll for the most recent round of Library jewels has closed. The runaway winner is the collection of Native American papers and photos, capturing 63 percent of the vote. A 1918 book about a Native American monster tale finished second with 28 percent, followed by the 1884 Snohomish County Democratic Party ticket (9 percent). These three contestants are just some of the amazing, rare or interesting items or collections found in the State Library. Next week we'll launch the November edition of Archives treasures, which puts a spotlight on many of the great collections and items in the State Archives.
