A company that has been around as long as the state of Washington has been honored by Secretary of State Wyman.
Wyman presented Avista Chairman, President and CEO Scott Morris with a certificate recognizing Avista’s 125th anniversary as a corporation in Washington. The presentation took place Friday at the energy company's Spokane headquarters, with many of its employees in attendance. The event capped a weeklong celebration for Avista, formerly Washington Water Power Company.
