Hard Times in Washington: Putting in a water line

Most of us take it for granted that we have water flowing into our homes, schools, businesses and other locations. But somebody had to build the infrastructure that allows water to travel from reservoirs to various destinations. In this 1925 photo, a City of Spokane Public Works Department crew installs a water line.
