Secretary of State Kim Wyman and her staff congratulate retired Seattle Seahawks All-Pro left tackle (and friend of our office) Walter Jones for being elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame last weekend, in his first year of eligibility. Jones was named to the Pro Bowl nine times, the most in Seahawks history. He also was a six-time AP All-Pro at left tackle. When Jones came to Olympia last month for the Seattle Seahawks 12th Man rally, he stopped by our office afterward to meet Wyman and others, earning the Seahawks great even more fans. Between Jones being elected to the Hall of Fame and the Seahawks routing the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl, it was an exciting weekend for the 12th Man!
