If you haven’t registered to vote or need to update your current voter registration info due to moving or changing your name, better do it today if you want to vote in next month’s election!

Today’s the deadline to send in mail-in or online registration forms. (If you’re registered but didn’t update your voter info by the deadline, you’ll receive your ballot at the address that shows on your current registration form.) If you haven’t used the online voter registration form before, don’t worry, it’s easy. Go to www.vote.wa.gov for more details.

If you’ve never registered to vote in Washington, you have until October 26 to do so in person at your county elections office if you want to vote in next month’s election.

The first batch of ballots (over 60,000) for the General Election was mailed out last weekend. They’re going to our state’s military and overseas voters. The rest of the 3 million-plus mail-in ballots will be sent out to voters by October 16. The General Election is November 3.
