In every election, there are winners and losers. One big winner in Washington’s recent General Election was the new Election Results iPhone app.

There have been 5,478 people who have installed the Elections Results app. From Election Day up to now, there have been nearly 206,000 hits for election results.

This new app was so popular that last week it reached #8 on iTunes’ top reference free software, behind such heavyweights as the Google Mobile App, Dictionary.com, Bing, the Bible and Wikipedia Mobile.

If you still want to track Election Results and want to download this new app, click here and follow the easy directions.

One common question from folks: When will you guys have an Election Results app for Droid users? It will be available sometime next year. We’ll also try to incorporate suggestions from the iPhone app’s users in time for next year’s elections.
