The LCW meets four times a year. Meetings are held throughout the state in different types of libraries, or online. Travel reimbursement is provided in accordance with state travel regulations. Applications are currently being accepted for the following four positions on the Council:
- Information Technology: represents the broad spectrum of information technology needs and issues in all types of libraries;
- Public Libraries serving over 100,000 persons: represents the needs and issues of larger public libraries in the state;
- Rural Libraries: represents the needs and issues of rural library service;
- School Libraries: represents the needs and issues of K-12 school libraries.
- When: Monday, October 29 – Wednesday, October 31, 2012;
- Where: Campbell’s Resort, Lake Chelan, WA;
- Registration: Conference registration ranges from $60 to $225. Register by September 28 to take advantage of early bird rates;
