The votes are in, and the winner of July’s Archives Treasures is a 38-star U.S. flag from 1886. The flag, which was given to the State Archives by the University of Washington ROTC in 2011, gathered 47percent of the votes, edging photos of the Greenwood Ark (39 percent) and Olympia Odd Fellows Lodge photos (14 percent). We’ll kick off the July edition of the Library Jewels next week, so be watching!
