Free stuff: Meet an Iditarod musher

Ever wonder what it’s like to compete in the legendary Iditarod Sled Dog Race?

Come to the Washington State Library on October 15 and find out! Laura Daugereau, our state’s first female competitor in this famous race, will speak about her experiences and her plans for her next Iditarod. Laura is even bringing one of her sled dogs to her speaking engagement.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m., with the doors opening at 6. The State Library, a division of the Office of Secretary of State, is located at 6880 Capitol Boulevard S. in Tumwater. For more information about the presentation, call WSL events at (360) 704-5269 or e-mail [email protected] .
