ProQuest K-12 trainer Jeffrey Cutler, and ESD 112 have teamed up to offer clock hours for a series of online webinar sessions. The webinars cover a variety of topics and resources, including:
- SIRS Discoverer & CultureGrams;
- eLibrary, ProQuest Learning: Literature, & the History Study Center;
- eLibrary Student and Educator Research Tools;
- ProQuest Research Library and the new improved ProQuest search platform;
- ProQuest Resource Exploration and Q&A.
- Complete an institutional disaster plan for their collections by the end of Part 2;
- Learn how to train staff to implement the plan effectively;
- Set pre- and post-disaster action priorities for collections;
- Learn how to use practical decision-making skills during an emergency;
- Have hands-on practice in salvage procedures for books, documents, and non-print media.

- Dr. Daniel Cook, Clinic Professor at The Center for Pediatric Dentistry, speaks about the importance of oral health;
- Dr. Dimitri Christakis, Director of the Center for Child Health, Development and Health Care at Seattle Children’s Hospital Research Institute; and Professor of Pediatrics at the UW School of Medicine, talks about new research around television and young children.
- Val Thomas-Matson, who is currently in development on a commercial-free program for preschoolers based on brain research, called Look, Listen & Learn, shares a demo of the program, which uses television to make learning and discovery exciting for children and families and includes children from communities normally underrepresented in the media.
