Candidates from Highline must have the required one year of recent library experience or meet that requirement within four years to receive the LSSC. For more about the Highline Library and Information Services Program, visit lis.highline.edu. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) FINDING FUNDING FOR PRESERVATION Creating and Funding Preservation Projects to Enhance Collection Care is a free one-day workshop from the Western States & Territories Preservation Assistance Service (WESTPAS) that begins by identifying and prioritizing collection needs, followed by reviewing sources of available grant funding. The third part of the workshop addresses the key preservation questions asked on grant applications, showing participants how to answer the questions on behalf of their institutions. The workshop emphasizes working collaboratively with colleagues to develop and receive feedback on project proposals. Workshop information:
