Learn how to develop new or reinvigorate existing teen book clubs at your library. By incorporating additional supporting media, relevant activities, and social networking, you can transform the traditional book club into a dynamic and interactive conversation. In addition to an overview of the project, the web pages cover the following:
- Circulation of eBooks;
- Developing eReader collections;
- Policies, procedures & resources (great training aids ready to go!);
- Promotion & marketing;
- Purchasing eReaders;
- Technical aspects;
- Training.
- Planning and developing prototypes of new digital tools for preserving, analyzing, and making accessible digital resources, including libraries’ and museums’ digital assets;
- Research that brings new approaches or documents best practices in the study of the digital humanities;
- Innovative uses of technology for public programming and education utilizing both traditional and new media;
- New digital modes of publication that facilitate the dissemination of humanities scholarship in advanced academic as well as informal or formal educational settings at all academic levels.
- What: Submit a 1-2 minute video telling us how your library is thriving and building community in new and compelling ways;
- When: Must be received by September 15, 2012;
