This free exhibit is made possible by a partnership of the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Library of America, and the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. Next Monday, November 19, 2012, will be the last day this special exhibit will be in the state of Washington. To mark the occasion, nationally recognized professor, anthropologist, and director of the Museum of Culture and Environment, Mark Auslander, will give a special lecture at 7:00 p.m., entitled “Rose’s Gamble: African Americans and the Civil War, in History and Memory.” Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the past!
