Stephanie Gerding, author of The Accidental Technology Trainer, will share practical tips and best practices for planning and promoting computer classes at the library, engaging students, and evaluating success. - Uncertainty about how to deal with difficult situations;
- How to handle logistics, space limitations, and planning.

- Leverage new and existing information for libraries to help patrons with requests related specifically to the ACA, both prior to and after the October 1, 2013 date for open enrollment (more information will be posted as it becomes available);
- Assess state and public library needs regarding patron requests for health information and resources;
- Develop a comprehensive guide for state and public libraries to help patrons navigate health information at their local libraries;
- Facilitate an online community of practice for librarians to connect and share resources related to patron needs related to health and wellness.
- Complete a disaster response and collection salvage plan for their collections by the end of Part 2;
- Learn how to train staff to implement the plan effectively;
- Set pre- and post-disaster action priorities for collections;
- Understand how to use practical decision-making skills during an emergency;
- Have hands-on practice in salvage procedures for a variety of materials including books, documents, photographs, and objects.
