The Washington State Library, with funding from the Library Services Technology Act (LSTA), is providing full scholarships for this event. Scholarships will include transportation, all conference fees and meals, and lodging. Thursday and Friday evening meals will be covered on a per diem reimbursement. Those eligible for the award must:
- Work at a small and rural library or library branch (serving 10,000 or fewer) in Washington State;
- Commit to a follow-up project (webinar, printed article, blog post, etc.);
- Demonstrate a willingness to share knowledge gained at the conference with fellow library/district staffers;
- Show how conference attendance will help meet the library’s goals related to the eight LSTA priorities;
- Submit a signed authorization from someone in your organization who has approved your attendance at the conference.
- Number of items in each library collection;
- Last year's circulation for each collection;
- Number of titles added to each collection during the past year.
