The first game of our Library Jewels tourney turned into a laugher, as the rare and historic atlas nearly 500 years old gathered 67 percent of the votes, while the precursor text to Le Jeune’s famous Chinook shorthand, by Paul Durieu, attracted only 33 percent. Game 2, which pits WTBBL’s Ray Charles connections against a 1910 photo album of northwestern Washington, starts this afternoon, so be ready.
