Please encourage teachers and students in grades 4 - 12 at your school or in your library service area to participate. Homeschoolers are welcome as well.
- Level 3 (grades 9-12) entries must be postmarked by December 4, 2015.
- Level 1 (grades 4-6) and Level 2 (grades 7-8) entries must be postmarked by January 11, 2016.
- 120 elementary school collections
- 55 middle school collections
- 55 high school collections
- Deadline to register is October 27, 2015. Register here.
- Deadline to register is November 4, Register here.
- Complete a disaster response & collection salvage plan
- Learn how to train staff to implement your plan effectively
- Set pre- and post-disaster action priorities for your collections
- Understand practical decision-making skills needed during an emergency
- Experience salvage procedures for books, documents, photos & objects

- This annual, two-day event is for all educators in Washington State – superintendents, central office administrators, principals, assistant principals, other building-level administrators, teachers, and teacher leaders.
- Hot issues in education in Washington will be highlighted by national keynote speakers and in best practices concurrent sessions.
