This year’s Primary Election deadline is just hours away now. Did you vote yet? Typically, about half of the people who vote in the Primary send in their ballot before Election Day. This means a lot of voters will be scrambling to meet the Tuesday deadline. If you haven’t voted yet and want to do so, you need to find your ballot and fill it out, making sure to follow all of the instructions. Once you’ve done that, you can stick your ballot in the mail after signing the envelope. But make sure you get it to a post office in time so it’s postmarked by Election Day (August 17) cuz if it isn’t, your ballot won’t count. An even safer option is to deliver your ballot envelope to your county elections office or at a drop box provided by that office by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
