Trivia anyone???

There are times that I wonder why I work in a library? Especially a prison library. Then I remember my patrons, or at least the good ones. Like the guy who comes in every week looking for the answer to the trivia contest. He asks advice, but he loves the search for the answer. He can spend the whole hour looking up the answers in the books - it is only as it comes to the end of his time in the library that he resorts to me looking up the answer on the Internet. I enjoy it when he comes in because he loves the searching out of the answer, but also because he is happiest when he doesn't have to ask me for the answer. Now don't get me wrong, I am always willing to help, but knowing that he is learning about the collection and the trivia at the same time is a great feeling for me. Besides I still give him hints every once in awhile to steer him to the right book to answer his question.
