Curious about the Heritage Center?

If you’ve ever seen a presentation on the proposed Washington State Heritage Center, you know it’s a project that is both grand AND cool. It’s something that will be interesting to all ages.

Yesterday, one of my OSOS co-workers, Heritage Center Director of Marketing Dana Pethia, gave a great talk about this project to a group of Thurston County Mainstream Republicans. Dana’s presentation highlights how this impressive facility will appear and what will be featured in it. Her presentation yesterday featured, for the first in public, some new illustrations and floor plans of various parts of the Heritage Center. It’s all good stuff to see if you’re into Washington history and our state’s heritage, or if you’re a fan of our State Archives and/or State Library. If you know a civic club, a community group, or even a parent-teacher association or some other type of school group that would like to have Dana give a presentation about the Heritage Center project, let her know. She can be reached at (360) 902-4154 or [email protected]. The Heritage Center’s Web page is www.HeritageCenter.wa.gov
