Matt Hasselbeck as governor?

For Seahawks fans in Secretary Reed’s office and elsewhere, news spread quickly that longtime quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is leaving the Seattle Seahawks after 10 seasons. Sounds like he’ll play with the Tennessee Titans this year. Hasselbeck’s crowning moment with the Seahawks came in 2005 when he helped lead the team to a franchise-best 13-3 record and a Super Bowl appearance against the Steelers. Of course, we won’t mention (terrible) how that game (calls) turned out. After that magical season, Hasselbeck came to Olympia to visit Gov. Gregoire and the Legislature. This photo shows the guv letting him sit in her chair and use the phone while he was "Governor for a Moment."
