Standing 287 feet, it is the 4th tallest in the world, only surpassed by St. Peter’s Cathedral in Rome (446 feet), St. Paul’s Cathedral in London (355.5 feet), and St. Isaac’s Cathedral in St. Petersburg (333 feet). ( Photo compliments of Washington State Digital Archives )
