Seven veterans or soldiers, four Korean Americans and two civilians affected by the Korean War, all profiled in a new exhibit and book about the war, have been honored at its official launch event in the Capitol. State Library closed Aug. 30 for training
The Washington State Library will be closed Aug. 30 for staff training. No appointments, online chat service or telephone assistance will be available that day. The State Library will resume normal operations on Aug. 31. The State Library’s Reading Room is open by appointment Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 pm.
